Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc. is the parent company of Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) and Connecticut Public Radio (WNPR).
Due to the generous support of our viewers and listeners, Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc. has grown from a single station with one videotape machine to a statewide, community-supported network with four television stations, four radio stations and one cable network. Operating with a $20 million budget, the non-profit network houses production studios and offices in Hartford, with an additional radio station in New Haven.

Our History
From a single television station broadcasting in black and white in 1962, Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc., has evolved into a statewide broadcasting network with four television stations, four radio stations and one cable network.
