Andrew Jaworski received 50% of the votes in the CPTV UChoose Student-Athlete of the Week Poll to win this week’s honor. He is a senior guard on the Tolland High School Boys Basketball team.

The 6’2” guard averaged 30 points per game in three games lasts week. He scored 33 points against Plainfield in the quarters Friday (Tolland won 55-46), 39 points in a 66-59 win over St. Joseph Wednesday, and 20 against Granby Monday. Tolland was unable to advance to the CIAC Class M Championship after losing to Brookfield 73-70 Wednesday.

Voting was introduced in the CPTV UChoose Student-Athlete of the Week poll in October of 2014. Since that time, over 80 winners have been crowned from 50 different towns. 300,000-plus votes have been cast in that time in support of our student-athletes recognized for their fine play on a weekly basis. Fans may participate in a given poll each Saturday at 6 p.m. until Monday night at 6 p.m.
