This lavish two-part adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s classic tale of romance, suspense, and jealousy comes to CPTV Sundays, Feb. 12 and Feb. 19, 2017 at 10 p.m.
Maxim de Winter (Charles Dance of Game of Thrones and The Jewel in the Crown) takes his new wife (Emilia Fox of The Pianist and Pride & Prejudice) back to his home, the ancient and magnificent Manderley in Cornwall.
It soon becomes evident that the shadow of Maxim’s first wife, Rebecca, is all-pervasive, nurtured all the more by the sinister and gothic housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers (Diana Rigg of Game of Thrones). The new Mrs. de Winter begins to uncover the darkness of the past that taints the present and threatens to haunt her future.
