The Way We Were Are
“The Way We Were Are” will be a discussion of the state of the country but through an intensely personal lens, a series of vignettes with influencers and thought leaders that, like a jigsaw puzzle, will provide a view of the broad landscape when pieced together.
The headliners, who will be interviewed one-on-one, will include Tim Daly, the actor and president of The Creative Coalition, which seeks to marshal artists behind policy; Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, the hosts of “Morning Joe,” MSNBC’s popular morning news program; Danielle Ponder, the singer and former public defender; John Lithgow, the actor and author; and Kavita Patel, the epidemiologist who is writing a book on grief and will provide the sinews that connect the panelists’ individual experiences.
