Congratulations to the 6’1” senior, who scored his 1000th career point Tuesday night. Seaforth scored 24 points in an 82-65 disposal of Lyman Hall-Wallingford.

Delshawn Jackson Jr. (G) – Prince Tech-Hartford Boys Basketball

Jackson Jr. reached and then breezed pass the 1000 point landmark scoring 32 points in a 65-56 defeat of Goodwin Tech, Tuesday. The junior scored 20 points the night before in 42-point manhandling of Cheney Tech. Prince Tech (12-5) has won four consecutive games.

Courie Stevenson (G) – Sacred Heart-Waterbury Boys Basketball

The Hearts (16-0) have won 72 straight against Connecticut opponents dating back to the 2014 NVL Final. Victory No. 70 in-a-row was a come-from-behind 65-63 win over Holy Cross, Monday. They trailed by 17 in the final minutes, but stormed back thanks to senior Courie Stevenson’s 14 fourth quarter points including the game-winning basket.

Jaykeen Foreman (G) – Wilbur Cross-New Haven Boys Basketball

The 6’1” junior nailed a game-winning baseline jumper, Wednesday, with less than a second remaining to help Wilbur Cross nip city rival Career Magnet, 63-61. Foreman collected 11 points and 11 rebounds as Wilbur Cross improved to 13-4.

Izzy Lipinski (G) – Farmington Girls Basketball

Farmington iced Southington Friday, 57-50. The 5’11” junior put forth a monster-double: 23 points and 20 rebounds. The Indians rebounded from a 12-point loss on Wednesday to EO Smith. Lipinski scored 17 in that one.

Shania Slyman (G) – Windham Girls Basketball

The senior propelled the Whippets to a 59-42 victory over Griswold, last Monday, by scoring 30 points. Slyman reached the 1000 career point milestone in the win. Windham is now 12-7 in 2016-17 with one game remaining in the season.
