As opioid settlement money comes to CT, pain of personal loss confronts bureaucratic delays

After months of deliberation that critics say was costing lives, the Connecticut Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee voted for the first time to spend $500,000 of the state’s settlement funds toward harm reduction supplies, including clean syringes and Naloxone, an overdose reversal drug.
