The daily percentage of COVID-19 tests coming back positive is just under 5.5 percent, according to Governor Ned Lamont’s Thursday update. The total number of COVID patients has spiked by 45 after a slight decrease in hospitalizations on Wednesday. An additional 55 deaths linked to the virus have also been reported. Fairfield County currently leads with the most number of positive COVID cases at 49,225 closely followed by Hartford County.
