As COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the state, here are the latest schools and businesses being affected according to Hearst Connecticut. Cafe Luna and Reyes Bar & Restaurant in Stamford have been shut down for violating COVID-19 restrictions. Both restaurants violated protocol on gathering size, mask use, and serving alcohol without food according to the Stamford Department of Health. Weston High School switched to full-remote learning Wednesday while 17 staff members and one student quarantine because of possible coronavirus exposure. Due to the ‘critical roles’ of the staff members, the school will remain closed for in-person learning until Nov. 13. The closure comes a week after 19 students athletes at the high school were also asked to quarantine for the same reason. Meanwhile in Rocky Hill, the Connecticut Lottery Headquarters reopened Wednesday after closing because of a positive coronavirus case. While it was just one case, officials said the headquarters closed on
