Just in time for the season of giving, Oliver Koenig-Paquin from Glastonbury is aiming to collect at least 2,500 pairs of pajamas for children in need this winter. The 8-year-old is the face of Oliver’s Pajama Program, an initiative he started five years ago. The Journal Inquirer reports Oliver said he started the project because he wants all children to have a “warm, cozy night”. As of now, Oliver has collected 333 pairs of pajamas and over $1,000 in donations. The program accepts pajamas for all ages, but this year Oliver is asking for adult sizes as older kids tend to get overlooked.
