Justice Department Settles Claims Against Meriden Over Mosque

The Justice Department says it’s settled claims against the city of Meriden that it violated federal law by denying the application of a mosque in 2019. In a statement , the U.S. Attorney’s Office says the Omar Islamic Center “will be able to worship in a location of their choice.”
