White people in Connecticut are more than twice as likely as Black and Hispanic people to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. That’s according to numbers released Thursday by the state Department of Public Health. Eight percent of white people are fully vaccinated. Less than four percent of Black and Hispanic residents are fully vaccinated. But the state health department says there is some uncertainty in those numbers. There is a large number of patients whose race is listed as “other” or “multiple races” or “unknown groups.” It is unclear how many of them could be white, Black, Hispanic, or a different race.
