The number of current active cases of COVID-19 at Trinity College has more than doubled since last week. According to numbers released today, there are 47 cases right now, compared to 21 cases last week. The Hartford school has already switched in-person classes to online, and made other changes to slow transmission of the virus. Meanwhile, UConn has seen a drop-off in cases at the Storrs campus, after an increase a couple of weeks ago. Just eight students in Storrs are currently believed to have the illness.
