The White House has extended support for the Connecticut National Guard’s COVID response through the end of March. It was previously set to expire on Dec. 31. The governor’s office says the federal government will pick up 75 percent of the cost during that time. In an earlier authorization from April to September, the National Guard was fully funded by the federal government.
