Yale New Haven Health Reports A 50% Increase of COVID Cases In The Last Two Weeks

In the last two weeks, Yale New Haven Health has seen about a 50% increase in coronavirus cases. The number of patients in the ICU has also spiked. Hearst Connecticut reports the spike is still well below the peak this past spring of 800 cases. New Haven is currently at a yellow COVID alert rate with five to nine daily cases per 100,000 residents.
