Deer Lake is hosting an Earthday event on April 27 from 10:00am to 4:00pm on April 27,2024
This free event is open to all ages. Explore the trails on your own or as part of a guided hike. Visit with vendors from Peace Love Books to Action Trackchair. Purchase a BBQ lunch to enjoy by the lake while listening to live music. Learn about microplastics. Go fishing on your own or join Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s CARE program between 1:00 and 4:00 to try fishing for the first time or for advanced anglers to learn new skills. Bid on our silent auction to support our mission to provide accessible outdoor education and recreation opportunities at Deer Lake Outdoor Center.
