IN COMMUNITY: A Conversation with Nikole Hannah-Jones

Join Connecticut Public and the Fairfield County Equity Lab for the third event in our “In Community” speaker series. On May 2, we feature Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones. The program will explore many of the themes Hannah-Jones explores in her work for The New York Times Magazine, creator of The 1619 Project and as the Knight Chair of Race and Journalism at Howard University.

She will discuss her career covering racial injustice and the enduring legacy of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade on our culture, our politics, our economy, and our institutions.

5:30- 6:30 PM – Community Networking – light snacks and cash bar
6:30 PM – Program begins
8:30 PM – Program ends
The event will be held at District Music Hall (formerly Wall Street Theater), Norwalk, CT.

General admission is $20; patron-level tickets are $50.
