Big Y has announced that it will administer COVID-19 vaccines once they’re available. The vaccine will be available in all 33 of its pharmacy and wellness centers. Hearst Connecticut reports the supermarket chain already administers other routine vaccines and employees will receive additional training for the COVID vaccine. The company joins Stop & Shop which announced earlier this year its pharmacies would also carry the vaccine.
