Hal Holbrook, Who Played Mark Twain Longer Than Twain, Dead At 95

Actor Hal Holbrook has died at the age of 95. Holbrook spent more than six decades playing Mark Twain in a one-man show — often raising funds for the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford. Most recently, Holbrook celebrated his 90th birthday in 2015 by reprising his Twain role in Hartford as a fundraiser for his character’s house.
