Despite a last-minute cancellation from an opponent because of the virus, the UConn men’s basketball team will still play two games at Mohegan Sun in the coming days. The Huskies will play Southern California on Thursday, and North Carolina State on Saturday. They had been scheduled to play their first “Bubbleville” game against Vanderbilt, but that team withdrew because of a positive COVID-19 test. UConn started its 2020-21 season last week with victories over Central Connecticut and Hartford, both games at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs.
